ESPN's “College GameDay” traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan, on Saturday for the highly anticipated matchup between Michigan and Texas in Week 2 of college football. And for the second straight week, a “GameDay” expert said Arizona State will not hold on to the point differential.

While attention was focused on No. 9 Michigan and No. 3 Texas, ASU was mentioned again in Saturday's “SuperDogs” segment. In that segment, the hosts pick underdogs of at least 4.5 points, and Kirk Herbstreit highlighted ASU's Saturday night matchup against Mississippi State at Mountain America Stadium.

The Sun Devils just pulled off a 48-7 win over Wyoming in what was expected to be a closer game. Last week, Rece Davis chose Wyoming as his SuperDog pick at ASU. That didn't go very well for Davis.

Mississippi State, meanwhile, defeated Eastern Kentucky 56-7 in its season opener.

ASU, once a 6.5-point favorite over Mississippi State, has been bet down to 5.5 points at BetMGM Sportsbook. Herbstreit believes that trend is real and that the Sun Devils won't reach that number against the Bulldogs.

ASU vs. Mississippi State, tips, odds: Who will win the week 2 college football game?

“Jeff Lebby knows how to coach, and this offense, Blake Shapen comes from Baylor,” Herbstreit said. “And they have an offense that can score.”

According to ESPN's matchup predictor, Mississippi State has a 43.5% chance of beating Arizona State on Saturday at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe.
