ICSO arrests for capital crimes: 30 August – 6 September

The Iredell County Sheriff's Office reported the following felony arrests:

30 AUGUST
♦ Devin Lee Bates, 37, of June Bug Drive, Stony Point, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a felon and a drug offense.

♦ Charity Dawn Brown Gomez-Escobar, 52, of Deal Lane, Statesville, charged with theft.

♦ Vernon Jacob McGraw Jr., 42, of Tammy Drive, Mooresville, charged with theft of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, criminal possession of a weapon and two minor drug offenses.

♦ Nathaniel Benjamin Wheat, 37, of Liberty Church Road, Taylorsville, charged with assault causing serious injury.

31 AUGUST
♦ Sara Jill Green, 36, of East Broad Street in Statesville, charged with three counts of sale or trafficking in a Schedule II controlled substance and three counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell or traffic in a Schedule II controlled substance.

2 SEPTEMBER
♦ Ametra Monique Carr, 47, Goldsboro Avenue, Statesville, charged with assault, neglect and exploitation of disabled or elderly adults.

♦ Maurice Antoine Johnson, 42, of Eastside Drive, Statesville, charged with two counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a dwelling or vehicle for controlled substances, possession of methamphetamine and a drug offense.

♦ Joshua Brian Price, 31, of Pineview Court, Hickory, charged with probation violation.

3 SEPTEMBER
♦ Jacob Anthony Benton, 32, of Summer Serenade Drive, Huntersville, is charged with assault by strangulation causing great bodily injury, minor assault and minor domestic violence.

♦ Adair Romon McAllister, 50, of Inglewood Road, Statesville, charged with two counts of executing a forged document, two counts of obtaining signatures by false pretense, two counts of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver, possession of methamphetamine and a drug offense.

4 SEPTEMBER
♦ Daquanta O'Neil Dobbins, 22, of Caldwell Street in Statesville, is charged with three counts of probation violation and two counts of uttering threats.

♦ Paul Augusto Sanchez, 62, of Walking Lane, Statesville, charged with 10 counts of theft by an employee.

♦ Tyquavion Nyquan Simon, 20, of Coronet Way, Charlotte, charged with four counts of grand theft, five counts of conspiracy and one count of petty theft.

5 SEPTEMBER
♦ Richard Jason Dawes, 49, of Executive Center Place, Mooresville, is charged with two counts of sexual offense on or near the property of children.

♦ Jermaine Jeffrey Ray Jackson, 30, US Highway 64, Mocksville, is charged with failure to notify the sheriff of a sex offender’s change of address.

6 SEPTEMBER
♦ Christopher Jay Hardwick, 38, of Shepherd Lane, Troutman, is charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.

♦ Kenyon J. Spence, 30, no address, is charged with failure to notify the sheriff of a sex offender's change of address.
