Accident involving several vehicles leads to full closure of A2

Several cars collided on the A2 towards Hanover. The motorway towards Hanover is completely closed.

Bielefeld- Full closure on Sunday on the A2! Several cars crashed between Gütersloh and the Bielefeld junction. The motorway is closed in the direction of Hanover.

The length of the traffic jam increases after the crash.

Motorists are asked to take a detour and avoid the area.

Following the collision, a fire service operation is underway on the A2. Traffic jam reports suggest that the traffic situation is not expected to ease before 8:30 p.m.

The ADAC recommends the following diversions for travelers: U79, U62, U39 diversion for the A33 towards Brilon from Bielefeld-Senne U62 diversion for the A33 towards Osnabrück from Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock U62, U28.
