The M&A advisory firms CASE Corporate Finance and CASSIOPEA Partners join forces and establish CASE CASSIOPEA

Frankfurt, Milan, Paris (ots) –

– New European M&A advisory firm with offices in Frankfurt, Milan and Paris
– Strong track record in advising on complex M&A transactions
– International network through established partners in Benelux, Scandinavia, Spain and America

CASE Corporate Finance (CASE) and CASSIOPEA Partners (CASSIOPEA), both European partner-led M&A advisory firms with offices in Frankfurt, Milan and Paris, have announced their merger to form CASE CASSIOPEA BV (CASE CASSIOPEA).

The founding partners each have more than 25 years of experience in investment banking and worked together at ABN AMRO Bank for many years before founding their M&A advisory firms.

The merger of CASE and CASSIOPEA is the natural next strategic step after years of close and successful cooperation and a strong shared corporate culture. CASE CASSIOPEA is led by founding partners Marcus Bär, Marc Philipp Becker, Nicolas de Canecaude, Damien Segond and Stefano Trentino and advises with over 30 M&A professionals in three European offices.

CASE CASSIOPEA has broad industry coverage and extensive experience in Energy, Transportation & Digital Infrastructure, Industrial & Business Services, Consumer Goods & Retail, TMT and Healthcare & Pharma Services.

CASE CASSIOPEA structures tailor-made strategic transactions for blue-chip corporations, owner-managed companies and financial investors, focusing primarily on long-term and trusting customer relationships.

Since 2012, CASE and CASSIOPEA have successfully collaborated and completed more than 150 transactions, of which approximately 50% were cross-border. CASE CASSIOPEA has a strong track record in structuring complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, such as the recent acquisition of a portfolio of renewable energy systems from Enpal by Equitix and Keppel Infrastructure, the sale of South American retailer Grupo Éxito by the French Casino Group to Grupo Calleja, and the sale of Grandi Stazioni Retail by Antin Infrastructure Partners, ICAMAP and Borletti Group.

In addition to CASE's long-standing and exclusive partnership with ABN AMRO Bank for the Benelux region, CASE CASSIOPEA cooperates with the partner-led M&A boutiques PK Partners in Scandinavia and MAP Alliance in America and Spain. This international network supports CASE CASSIOPEA in serving clients across borders.

CASE CASSIOPEA will continue to focus on providing its clients with proven independent and individual strategic M&A advice. The new structure will enable CASE CASSIOPEA to support its clients more efficiently with a fully integrated platform and to further accelerate sustainable international growth.

“With the merger of CASE CASSIOPEA, we have created a new independent M&A advisory platform that offers our clients in the three largest economies of the EU cross-border advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other corporate finance transactions,” explain the founding partners of CASE CASSIOPEA.
