Lupita Nyong'o in Del Core & More at the premiere of “The Wild Robot” at TIFF

The stars of the new animated film “The Wild Robot” walked the red carpet on Sunday for the film's premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film is about robot Roz, who must learn to adapt to his new environment on a deserted island with native animals.

Lupita Nyong’o

Nyong'o combined some of the hottest red carpet trends of 2024 at the premiere of “The Wild Robot” on Sunday. The Oscar winner wore a green dress with cutouts on the bodice and semi-sheer fabric on the skirt in a custom look by Del Core. Nyong'o matched her dress to her platform pumps, giving the overall look a monochromatic effect.

Nyong'o complemented her dress with jewelry from De Beers. Nyong'o joined the jewelry brand as a global ambassador in October 2022. The actress' hair was styled by Vernon François and makeup was done by artist Nick Barose. Nyong'o's look was curated by stylist Micaela Erlanger.

Stephanie Hsu

For her red carpet appearance at the premiere of “The Wild Robot,” Hsu opted for a dress with deconstructed elements. The Oscar-nominated “Everything Everywhere All at Once” actress wore a strapless dress from Rokh's Fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection.

The collection included references to the “High Renaissance and Romantic eras,” according to Tianwei Zhang's report for WWD, and the look made its runway debut during Paris Fashion Week last March.

Catherine O’Hara

Catherine O'Hara chose two pieces from One Of by Patricia Voto. The actress wore the Hilda jacket and the Ripley Ball skirt from the “Painted Ladies” capsule collection. The pieces were made of jacquard in shades of coral, burgundy and bright red.

Maren Morris

Maren Morris opted for lots of ruffles and a thigh-high slit for her sleeveless dress at the premiere of “The Wild Robot.” The country singer's dress was designed by Vivienne Westwood. Her look was curated by stylist Dani Michelle.

The 2024 Toronto International Film Festival ends on Sunday. The films on show include “The Substance” with Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley, Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or-winning film “Anora,” Nicole Kidman’s new film “Babygirl,” and Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis.”
