Famous stunt show comes to the PPL Center in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania – An arena show featuring stunts from motocross, skating, BMX, scootering and more is coming to the PPL Center in Allentown, it was announced Tuesday.

The Nitro Circus tour begins November 17th at 6:30 p.m. Tickets priced at $54-$204 go on sale Friday, September 13th at 10 a.m. on pplcenter.com.

The Nitro Circus roster includes Australian Ryan “R Willy” Williams, who has over 100 “world firsts” to his name on scooters and motorcycles and whose videos have been viewed over 500 million times on social media.

“This tour is all about delivering the same jaw-dropping action and nonstop excitement that fans love, but with a brand new show format that will blow everyone away,” Williams said in a press release.

“What makes Nitro Circus so special is that it truly is a show for everyone. Whether you're a diehard fan or a first-timer, young or old, the energy is infectious and the thrill is unforgettable.”

Joining Williams are Adam Jones, a six-time X-Games medalist in freestyle motocross, and Andy Buckworth, a BMX icon and the first rider to perform the Superman Double Front Flip.

The team will perform “breathtaking stunts, tricks and exciting thrills” in front of a live DJ, according to a press release.

Started as a TV show

Nitro Circus began as a miniseries on Fuel TV in 2006 and became a reality TV show on MTV where people performed dangerous stunts.

In addition, “Nitro Circus: The Movie 3D” was released in 2012.

Premium tickets for the show at the PPL Center include a Nitro Circus Track Pass, which allows early entry, access to the floor for an up-close look at the Nitro Circus track and wheels, and an autograph session with the athletes, plus a commemorative wristband, limited edition poster and more.
