Bad Bunny joins a growing cast that includes Travis Kelce

Bad Bunny has landed another acting job. This time, the Puerto Rican rapper will join the cast of Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore Continuation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The rapper joins an ever-growing cast: Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald, who starred in the 1996 comedy, will return for the sequel, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end (and Taylor Swift's boyfriend) Travis Kelce is also joining the comedy with a small, unspecified role. Sandler confirmed Kelce's casting news while promoting the sequel on Tonight Show last month after the NFL star pitched himself for the film.

“I didn’t even know there was a vacancy on Happy Gilmore 2”, Kelce said on his New heights Podcast with brother Jason Kelce. “I’ll be a damn extra… anything to get around Happy Gilmorean Adam Sandler film or set – I’m in.”

To refresh your memory: Happy Gilmore follows failed hockey player Happy, who discovers his hidden talent as a golfer. In order to get his grandmother's house back from the IRS, Happy enters one tournament after another and applies his unconventional skills on the golf course. (Rolling Stone Readers by name Happy Gilmore one of Sandler's best films of 2014.)

Kyle Newacheck, the director of Netflix Crime Mysteryy, starring Sandler, will direct the sequel. Details about the film's plot or release date have not yet been announced.
