The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Tuesday (September 3, 2024) in 10 districts of Telangana.

The 10 districts

According to a bulletin, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bharadri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet and Mahabubabad districts.

Weather forecast for Hyderabad and surrounding areas

The next 24 hours will see mostly cloudy weather in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. “Light to moderate rain or thunderstorms and gusty winds are expected in the city. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 24°C and 22°C respectively,” the bulletin said.
