Lauren Sánchez presents herself at the Kering dinner in a transparent dress with a dramatic train

Lauren Sánchez made a fashion statement on September 9 when she arrived at the Kering Foundation's Caring for Women Dinner in a black Oscar de la Renta dress. Sánchez looked glamorous at the event, showing off the gorgeous lace dress that flattered her silhouette and accentuated her striking features.

Celebrities such as Katy Perry, Salma Hayek, Lindsay Lohan, Dakota Johnson and Priyanka Chopra Jonas also graced the red carpet. The charity gala puts the best-dressed A-listers in the spotlight and raises funds to promote women's empowerment. The Kering Caring for Women Dinner 2024 took place at The Pool in Manhattan. Gayle King served as the emcee of the ceremony. The star-studded event, which takes place every year during New York Fashion Week, celebrated its third edition this year.

Lauren Sánchez, the fiancée of Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, looked divine at the event. Page Six reported that the 54-year-old news reporter arrived at the dinner party wearing a black off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta dress. The lace details added even more gothic character to the figure-hugging dress, which was adorned with black flowers. The slightly sheer dress also featured a dramatic train at the bottom that trailed behind her as she walked.

Sánchez also opted for a more simple look. She tied her hair up in a messy way, showing off her prominent collarbones. The media personality completed her ensemble with Jimmy Choo heels, which were mostly invisible under her dramatic train, and diamond drop earrings. She even posted the look from the event on her Instagram, writing: “Nothing like dressing up and enjoying good company to calm those pre-booking nerves!”

Each year, the Kering Foundation partners with feminist icons, including philanthropists, activists and artists, to create impactful change. In 2024, they partnered with three charities – Girl Effect, It's On Us and the National Network – to raise nearly $3 million. The donations will go towards ending gender-based violence. In addition to Oscar de la Renta, luxury houses such as Gucci, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and other Kering brands dressed the famous attendees who graced the event.
