Bethlehem Police Chief Gina Cocchiara tells NewsChannel 13's Catilin Irla that the last two calls came in Thursday evening. One threatened violence and one threatened violence against the football team. Police presence at the school is increased. The district is under a precautionary curfew. There will be no recess or outdoor physical education classes. The football game has also been canceled.

The Bethlehem Central School District has now received a total of six threats of violence – all of which, according to police, came from a “fake” number.

Bethlehem Police Chief Gina Cocchiara told NewsChannel 13's Caitlin Irla that the last two calls came in Thursday night. One threatened violence and one threatened violence against the football team.

There is an increased police presence at the school. The district is under a precautionary curfew. There will be no recess or outdoor physical education classes. The football game has also been canceled.

Cocchiara said the police are doing everything they can to find out who is making these calls. The FBI is assisting with the investigation. All of the threats come from a male voice.
However, the police cannot trace the call because it is not a normal number but a fake number that conceals the origin of the call. In addition, Google has not been very helpful in the investigation, said the chief.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact Bethlehem Police at 518-439-9973.

The school district will hold a press conference at 4 p.m.
