Utah State had trouble moving the ball and finished the game with just 190 yards. In that regard, it was crushed by its opponent as USC gained 544 yards.

Utah's win increased the record to 2-0. For Utah State, the loss meant a record of 1-1.

Looking ahead, the game looks promising for Utah as the team is favored by a full 20.5 points. Last season, they finished with a 6-4-1 record against the spread teams.
