Eagles WR AJ Brown (thigh) questionable for Monday's game against the Falcons

The three-time Pro Bowler has not missed a game since joining the Eagles in 2022 and has proven to be as exceptional as he is healthy. Brown entered his third season in Philly colors with 194 receptions, 2,952 yards and 18 touchdowns for the club.

He was the team's best receiver in all of these categories last season, tied with DeVonta Smith with seven receiving TDs.

If Brown misses the contest, Smith will be Jalen Hurts' No. 1 target by a long shot. In the season opener against the Packers, he played primarily out of the slot, running 26 of his 35 routes according to Next Gen Stats, but in a larger role he would likely move around a bit more.

Tight end Dallas Goedert and running back Saquon Barkley would also need to improve their passing game, as would newly arrived wide receiver Jahan Dotson, who caught just one pass in 32 snaps in his Eagles debut last week but failed to catch a ball.

The Eagles have the tools to make up for this should Brown have to sit out a game early in the season, but such a situation would not be ideal.

Philadelphia and Atlanta begin Monday at 8:15 p.m. ET.
