Culver City, CA — September 12, 2024 — Today, Prime Video announced a new stand-up special from visionary comedian George Lopez, taping on the Los Angeles dates of his PERHAPS! Comedy Tour, September 27th and 28th at the Dolby Theater. The premiere date for the one-hour special will be announced at a later date.

Lopez's illustrious and diverse career has spanned television, film, stand-up comedy and late-night TV. Lopez has pioneered Latino comedians by embracing his ethnicity, challenging racial stereotypes and fighting for his community on and off the stage.

He stars in and executive produces his multi-camera comedy series for NBC. Lopez vs Lopez, with his real-life daughter Mayan Lopez. In the family sitcom, which was recently renewed for a third season, father and daughter play a fictionalized version of their real-life relationship that explores dysfunction, reconciliation, and all the pain and joy in between.

Lopez has four HBO specials: The wall (2017), It's not me, it's you (2012), Tall, dark and Chicano (2009), which was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album, and America's Mexicans (2007).
