Elizabeth Debicki wears a black tank dress at the 2024 Emmy Awards

The Crown may be over, but it's far from done collecting awards. The series has 18 Emmy nominations this year, including Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, where Elizabeth Debicki is nominated for her outstanding portrayal of Princess Diana. And since she's never seen a carpet she didn't slay, the actress showed up to Sunday night's show looking incredible in a simple black slip dress. She paired it with a simple updo and dangling earrings.

Elizabeth is nominated alongside Christine Baranski for The Gilded Age, Nicole Beharie for The morning show, Greta Lee for The morning show, Lesley Manville for The crown, Karen Pittman for The morning show, and Holland Taylor for The morning show.

Elizabeth told the New York Times that she “swam in the ocean” when she found out about her nomination (in passing), saying, “I'm on vacation in Maine right now and we swam in the freezing ocean. I didn't really notice the time or the days of the week because I'm on vacation for two weeks. I haven't had any calls or texts in the last week either – at first you think, 'Hmm, nobody loves me' and then, 'Oh, that's wonderful.' When I looked at my phone, it had blown up and I realized what was happening. I think that's the best way to find out about news like that. Last year I was sleeping because I was in Australia. It's better for me not to hear about stuff like that because otherwise I can get really nervous. I was absolutely thrilled and so happy that so many actors from my show got nominated.”
