Starbucks launches new summer drinks just before fall – a subtle act of power

Everyone loves a summer-inspired remix, whether it's a song, a meal, or even a drink. And Starbucks is giving customers just that thanks to a handful of new, custom drinks.

Available starting today, August 14, the remixed drinks take popular drinks and give them a tasty twist with unique flavors, foams, and other ingredients. And thankfully, all three remixed drinks are cold drinks, as it's hard to beat the heat of a piping hot beverage.

The first drink is the Chocolate Cream Cold Brew with caramel syrup in a caramel-lined cup. For chai lovers, there's the Iced Chai Latte with Matcha Cream Cold Foam. And last but not least, there's the Blended Iced Black Tea Lemonade, a drink Starbucks describes as “cooler than cool” and “brighter than bright.” The iced beverage blends sweetened black tea, lemonade and ice for what is arguably the most refreshing of the remixes.

To take advantage of these new customizations, all you need to do is place an order in-store or on the Starbucks app.

Starbucks is certainly no stranger to treating customers to a newly-crafted drink on occasion. Earlier this year, the cafe offered a special Pink Drink with chocolate cream cold foam for Valentine's Day.
