Candlelight Beyoncé concert next month at Plymouth National Marine Aquarium

Call Plymouth's Beyhive, this is your last chance to grab tickets to Candlelight: A Tribute to Beyonce as they're selling out fast. For one magical evening, Plymouth's National Marine Aquarium will be transformed into a Beyonce paradise as it hosts a candlelight concert dedicated to Queen B herself.

The event promises to be an unforgettable evening, with a classical string quartet playing Beyoncé's greatest hits to fans, all set against the stunning backdrop of the aquarium's deep-sea tank. Beyoncé fans can look forward to a medley of her iconic songs, spanning from her early days with Destiny's Child to her latest album Cowboy Carter.

It's not just about the music; the atmosphere is enhanced by the flickering candlelight, creating a truly spectacular setting. The National Marine Aquarium, said to be the largest in the UK and home to over 4,000 marine animals, will see its aquatic charm meet musical elegance when the string quartet takes to the stage in front of the impressive deep sea exhibit.

The response to previous candlelight shows at this venue has been overwhelming, with one visitor commenting: “It was brilliant, never experienced anything like it before. I highly recommend it. Mark your calendars for Saturday 3 August as the concert will be split into two performances at 6.30pm and 8.30pm, each lasting an hour. Ticket prices are as tempting as the show itself, with balcony seats costing £15 and seats costing between £25 and £40, depending on the zone you choose.

Seating in each zone is available on a first come, first served basis, so hurry to secure the best spots. Organized by Candlelight Concerts by Fever, the events are described as follows: “Candlelight Concerts are a series of original music concerts launched by Fever to democratize access to classical music by allowing people around the world to enjoy live music by candlelight, performed by local musicians in various stunning venues illuminated by thousands of candles.”

The organizers added: “This multi-sensory experience has evolved to include other elements such as ballet dancers or aerial acrobats, as well as other genres such as jazz, soul, opera, flamenco and more. Candlelight Concerts can be found in over 100 cities worldwide and over 3 million guests have participated to date.”
