Future of local, independent real estate agents announced

As announced, the real estate agency Jennie Platt Estates has been taken over.

Normie Estate Agents acquired Jennie Platt Estates on Bury New Road in Prestwich this month, bringing the number of rental properties it manages to almost 600.

The agency has its head office in the same city and this latest move is intended to mark an important milestone in its growth.

Josh Gertler, Director of Normie Estate Agents, said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome Jennie Platt Estates properties and clients to the Normie family.

“Through this acquisition, we are not only expanding our portfolio, but also integrating a wealth of experience and local market knowledge, which will undoubtedly benefit our customers.”

Jennie Platt will continue to lead her established city centre agency, City Centre Chic, where she says she will focus on strengthening her presence and services in Manchester city centre.

She said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for both our customers and our team.

“Normie Estate Agents’ reputation for excellence and growth makes them the perfect choice to take over our North Manchester operation.

“I look forward to focusing on our city centre agency and continuing to provide excellent service to our clients.”

Manchester-born Jennie has “unrivalled knowledge of the Manchester market” and specialises in letting and selling high-quality properties across the city.

Normie has been doing business in the district for more than 45 years, making it one of the largest and oldest businesses in the area, and is proud to support local community events.

The agency has “expert staff with over 100 years of combined experience who live and breathe the areas we serve” and has been featured in the Best Estate Agent Guide 2023, an independent reference source for sellers and landlords.
