Huma Abedin announces relationship with George Soros' son Alex

Hillary Clinton's longtime aide Huma Abedin has apparently left her scandalous ex-husband Anthony Weiner behind and published a photo showing her flirting with George Soros' son Alex Soros on Valentine's Day.

Soros, the 38-year-old heir to his father's fortune and the influential nonprofit Open Society Foundations, first posted a photo of the couple on Instagram on Wednesday, settling into a booth at a Paris restaurant.

Red rose petals were scattered across the table and an animated sticker that read “Happy Valentine’s Day” was floating on top of the picture.

At 47, Abedin is almost 10 years older than her new partner.

Hillary Clinton's longtime right-hand woman split from her ex-husband seven years ago amid numerous public scandals. His name – which had been a staple of tabloid headlines for years – first made national headlines in 2011 when he tweeted a link to a revealing photo of himself. After denying for several days that he was behind the photo, Weiner finally publicly admitted to exchanging revealing messages with half a dozen women over several years.

Two years later, while running for mayor of New York, he was involved in a second sexting scandal. It emerged that he had exchanged even more messages with a woman using the pseudonym “Carlos Danger.”

But that's not all the scandals – in 2016, Weiner found himself at the center of another controversial sexting scandal when he was accused of exchanging more messages with a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.

He pleaded guilty to one count of distributing obscene material to a minor and served just over a year in prison.

Abedin and Weiner separated shortly after the third sexting scandal. She told The guard in 2021 that he “didn't just break my heart, he ripped it out and stomped on it over and over again.”

In June 2022, it was reported that Abedin was dating actor Bradley Cooper while their divorce proceedings were finalized.

A year later, Soros was appointed to take over his father's $25 million business and philanthropy empire.
