Brakes is expanding its Christmas range this year with 130 new products.

The hospitality giant said it had placed a “huge emphasis on innovation” in its “most comprehensive” festive NPD programme to date.

In total, the festive offering includes more than 1,000 products, with new items including variations on Christmas classics such as pulled turkey and turkey hot dogs, as well as seasonal desserts such as cinnamon cheesecake and a sour cherry and chocolate roulade.

Brakes is also launching a ‘Freezer to Plate’ range of dishes that can be served in five to 15 minutes to help customers with last-minute bookings and fluctuating demand around Christmas.

A new downloadable brochure is available for customers on Brakes' website, containing industry-specific information for easier navigation, as well as materials to help catering companies increase the visibility of their menu.

“In the current market conditions and with the cost crisis still affecting demand in the hospitality sector, a successful Christmas will be crucial to the success of the outlets,” says Paul Nieduszynski, CEO of Brakes, owner Sysco GB.
