Zach Bryan praises his “gorgeous” girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia on Valentine’s Day

Country superstar Zach Bryan and podcaster from Barstool Sports Brianna LaPaglia — aka Brianna Chickenfry — have been getting along hot and heavy since the beginning of their relationship.

The couple met in May 2023 when LaPaglia, a fan of Bryan, attended the Academy of Country Music Awards and took a photo with Bryan. That same month, the “Something in the Orange” singer announced that he and his then-girlfriend Deb Peifer ended their relationship.

The following month, LaPaglia and “BFFs” hosted the podcast Josh Richards appeared onstage at Bryan's performance at Forest Hills Stadium in New York City. At the time, the host of the podcast “Plan Bri Uncut” was in another relationship that ended shortly after the concert.

In July 2023, eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed that LaPaglia and Bryan were apparently dating, forcing her to address the rumors.

“It's fun, it's casual,” she said on the Plan Bri Uncut podcast, noting that she and Bryan had been talking for three weeks. “I just wanted to bring it up because the whole internet is freaking out and people are doing shit. And yeah, that's really what it is. Just hanging out and having fun.”

However, fans were still confused about the timeline of their whirlwind romance – which LaPaglia has since clarified.

“I was at the concert with my boyfriend. And then, a few days later, Joey and I split up. And [Bryan] had already broken up with his girlfriend, and then he f***ing DMed me,” she said on an August 2023 episode of the podcast “BFFs.” “I did a podcast after we went on stage and was like, 'Eat the rich except for Zach Bryan,' and he posted it and then DMed me and said, 'That was so sweet, thank you for coming.' And then we just started chatting.”

“We're getting a dog today,” she revealed on an episode of the podcast “BFFs,” with co-host Richards asking her if she refers to herself as “mommy” when she talks to Bryan's dog, Jack. “I'm getting a puppy today, Josh. … He needs a sister.”

LaPaglia showed off the dog she and Bryan adopted together.

“I'm sorry for being so annoying. But I can't stop,” LaPaglia captioned a series of Instagram story posts featuring the pup. “She's too perfect not to post a million times.”

February 2024

Bryan and LaPaglia made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2024 Grammys. The pair shared a sweet kiss as they arrived at the awards show. Weeks later, Bryan gushed about LaPaglia on social media for Valentine's Day.

“You're tough when people are rude, you're honest when it's hard, you're kind when it's easy not to be, you're funny in a world full of crybabies, you're beautiful without help, you're patient when I'm being a jerk, you're empathetic when you shouldn't be,” Bryan wrote on his Instagram Story. “I wish this world saw you in the same light I do. I love you and happy Valentine's Day hotdog. Sorry I never got to jump off the plane in Vegas to ask, but here's to 80 more.”

For her part, LaPaglia shared her own sweet tribute with a series of photos featuring Bryan. “Oh hey look it's my Valentine. Feels like you've always been my Valentine,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. I love you very much. Like, very much.”
