Katy Perry says her two-year-old daughter Daisy loves Christmas: “She just comes alive”

Katy Perry's little daughter can hardly wait for Christmas.

Speak with Access to Hollywood At the 2022 American Music Awards, the 38-year-old singer talked about her two-year-old daughter Daisy Dove's love for the holidays and shared how she prepares for the family celebration.

“She's just coming alive,” Perry said of her daughter, whom she has with fiancé Orlando Bloom. “This is her third Christmas and she's so excited about it.”

“I have to order my Elf on the Shelf now. I can't do my first Elf on the Shelf for 25 days, guys, you know what I'm talking about,” she added with a laugh. “It's a journey, I'll do 15 days, maybe 10.”

Last month, the “Firework” artist gushed about her daughter Daisy, sharing that the little girl was her “gift for life” after the singer celebrated her 38th birthday in late October.

“I have a residency in Las Vegas and can literally drop her off at preschool and then play a show in Las Vegas,” she said Extra to her days as a working mother.

“I come back late, like 11:30 or so, and still make her lunch,” the singer said. “I take so much pride in cutting the ends off the sandwiches while my face is covered in sweaty makeup. It's a science in itself.”

Perry called her toddler her “light” and praised the experience of raising Daisy.

On her birthday, Perry gave a glimpse of her little family, sharing a snapshot of Bloom and Perry each holding a hand in the frame while daughter Daisy placed her hand on hers.

“Every time I blow out a candle I make a wish for you. 38 and grateful ♥️🎂,” Perry captioned her post, to which Bloom commented, “My ❤️.”

In a recent conversation with PEOPLE, the artist shared how much she hopes to expand her family with Bloom.

“I'm a planner,” the singer said at HEIMAT as she celebrated the launch of her non-alcoholic sparkling drink De Soi. “So, we'll see.”
