Pomona plans special Christmas market

The first Pomona Christmas Market last year was a huge success. So much so that it will be repeated this year with some additional attractions.

Pomona Area Chamber of Commerce [PDCC] supported a small Christmas market for 2023.

The result was a very successful street festival with very good attendance and support from local residents and businesses. Pomona was packed.

The main street was bustling with market stalls, musicians and cooking demonstrations by local individuals, businesses and service clubs – even Santa Claus made an appearance.

It was a great success and the PDCC is ready to support another street party on Friday 6th December from 4:30pm to 8pm.

The Cooroy/Pomona Lions Club will be on board this year to help with the organisation.

This year they want to set up a “Tradie Alley”, an area where all artisans can advertise their business.

Like last year, there will be plenty of food demonstrations. There will be market stalls selling arts and crafts and handmade products, music, face painting and of course Santa will be making a stop.
