Amy Duggar King tested positive for COVID-19.

“Christmas is cancelled here until further notice,” Amy, 34, began a lengthy Instagram post on Friday describing her test results and the upended holiday plans.

“My test result came back positive, my husband is quarantined in our bedroom and his quarantine ends soon. My quarantine started yesterday and I'm in the upstairs bedroom, away from everyone! I don't have a fever, but the body aches and chills are horrible,” she continued, adding that her mother and son, Daxton Ryan, are doing well.

While Amy admitted that her family's COVID holiday was “definitely not the Christmas I expected,” she wrote that they would host a replacement celebration in January once everyone was healthy again.

And although the owner of 3130 Clothing is disappointed that her family's Christmas has to be postponed, she continues to look at the situation positively and tries to find the positive in it.

“So nothing is packed, we didn't take a family photo, we are apart but life is still beautiful and there is so much to smile about…” she wrote.

“And even though I'm stuck for 10 days, I'm going to use this time to get closer to the Lord, watch some blockbuster hits, and get some rest,” she added. “I'm so thankful for mommy for taking care of our little guy – we love you so much!! Until we get better, MERRY MERRY Christmas!”
