Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn announce they are expecting their third baby: “The last Christmas of four”

The country music star and his wife announced the news on Christmas Day with a sweet family photo on Instagram

We wish Kane Brown and his family a Merry Christmas.

The 30-year-old country singer and his wife Katelyn, 31, announced on Monday that they are expecting their third child together.

To share the exciting news, the Browns posted a photo on Instagram on Christmas morning of the two on the couch with their daughters Kodi Jane, who turns 2 next week, and Kingsley Rose, 4, holding up the ultrasound picture.

The couple captioned the post, “The last Christmas of 4 🎄❤️ Merry Christmas everyone!!,” while many of their famous friends – including Taylor Lautner, Cole Swindell, Russell Dickerson and more – congratulated the growing family in the comments.

The Browns aren't shy when it comes to sharing insights into their family. Last month, Katelyn posted a video of the quartet and wrote, “Magical memories with my favorite people 🎄.” In October, the family dressed up together for Halloween and showed off their costumes on Instagram. They wrote, “Minnie, Daisy, Pluto and Donald wish everyone a happy Halloween!!!! Have fun trick or treating 🎃🎉.”

The “Be Like That” singer and his wife – who is also a musician – met at one of his first concerts in 2016, where they bonded over their shared love and passion for music. The duo married in 2018 and welcomed their first daughter in 2019, followed by their second in 2021.

The couple also collaborates outside of the family. In 2022, Kane and Katelyn released their song “Thank God” and sang the loving duet at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.

“My fans have waited five years for us to sing together. [were] actually four [other songs] that we had,” Kane told PEOPLE after they released “Thank God.” “I was like, 'Baby, you're going to be on this or this or this.' And then 'Thank God' came along and I was like, 'This is it.' And she said the same thing, but I'm so glad I waited for this particular album to come out.”

He added: “I always tell everyone she's my secret weapon, but this song is just us. I feel like it's a song for all relationships and anyone who's married or about to get married just knows it. It's like, 'God put you in my life for a reason.'”
