The Phoenix Suns will once again be part of the most wonderful time of the year.

The Suns are scheduled to play a Christmas Day game for the fourth consecutive year in the 2024–25 season, facing the Denver Nuggets for the second time in that period.

Shams Charania of The Athletic tweeted the NBA's Christmas schedule for the 2024-25 season on Thursday.

  • Timberwolves at Mavericks
  • 76ers at Celtics
  • Lakers at Warriors
  • Nuggets at Suns

Phoenix has lost its last three Christmas games in 2021 against the Golden State Warriors (116-107 at Footprint Center), 2022 against the Denver Nuggets (128-125 in overtime at Ball Arena) and 2022 against the Dallas Mavericks (128-114 at Footprint Center).

This is also the third time the Suns have had their final game on Christmas Day during this four-game Christmas series. The Suns last won a Christmas game in 2009 when they defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 124-93 at home.

Phoenix did not play on the holidays again until the 2021 season after reaching the 2021 NBA Finals.

The NBA will release its schedule for the 2024–25 regular season in the coming days.
