KU professor appointed to Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency | Berks Regional News

KUTZTOWN, Pennsylvania – Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has appointed a Kutztown University professor to the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD).

Dr. Jonathan Kremser of Kutztown, professor and department chair of KU's Department of Criminal Justice, brings a wealth of expertise and experience to this role.

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency serves as the Commonwealth's justice planning and policy-making agency.

By bringing together a broad range of experts from criminal and juvenile justice, victim support and related professions, the PCCD coordinates the investigation of problems, proposes solutions and assesses their impact.

“I am honored to answer the Governor's call and serve the Commonwealth on the Commission,” Kremser said. “I encourage our students to engage in public service where they have the opportunity to make positive contributions in their communities.”
