Police are searching for two suspects after two 20-year-old men were robbed at the corner of 62nd Street and West Drive shortly before 11 p.m. on Tuesday. The victims were not injured in the incident.

It is unclear what exactly was stolen before the suspects fled. Their descriptions have not yet been released.

This was the second robbery in the park within 24 hours. At around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, three men were approached at the corner of 59th Street and Fifth Avenue by a group of teenagers who stole a necklace and AirPods, according to police.

Crime statistics show increase in Central Park Precinct

The NYPD says serious crimes are increasing alarmingly in this area of ​​the park, an increase of at least 46 percent since last year.
