The California Highway Patrol has closed most of Freeway 2 after a tractor-trailer crashed and dozens of boxes of raisins flew across the road.

It happened near Mountain Street in Glendale. The truck appeared to have struck the median barrier, causing the trailer to be torn off and the boxes to fall onto the shoulder and north side of SR-2.

Officers closed a total of six lanes north and south. The CHP said the closure would last approximately two hours.
