Shooting in Waianae leaves one dead, three others in critical condition

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A shooting in Waianae Wednesday night left one person dead and three adults in serious condition, according to Honolulu EMS.

EMS officials said the incident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. at Puhinalo Place

Emergency medical services assisted in determining the death of one person, an adult male, who was found dead when they arrived on the scene. Officials say he suffered an apparent gunshot wound.

According to officials, emergency services cared for four other patients who had apparently suffered gunshot wounds.

According to emergency services, three adults were taken to hospital in serious condition: a 32-year-old woman, a 34-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man.

Officials also said a 70-year-old woman sustained injuries in an attack but refused transport by emergency services.

HPD and EMS are on site.

The investigation is ongoing.
