The Mahindra XUV 3XO, which is set to be launched in the next few days, is said to come with enhanced safety. We all know that Mahindra is another Indian brand after Tata Motors that considers safety as a priority. As we know, after the Nexon, the XUV300 was the only SUV in the segment to receive a 5-star safety rating. In fact, the SUV scored more points than the Nexon in the adult and child safety rating. However, Tata Motors improved the Nexon's safety even further and achieved one of the highest ratings in the Global NCAP.

However, the Mahindra XUV 3XO is said to come with more advanced safety features. According to some convincing reports, the XUV 3XO is likely to come with a Level 2 ADAS system. This is an important safety feature that Nexon does not have and could be a deciding factor when the 3XO is crash tested. Also, the XUV300 used to come with 7 airbags, including a knee airbag for the driver. This was later removed from the SUV, but now we can expect it to come back with the 3XO. Finally, we also expect Mahindra to improve the build quality of the already strong platform of the XUV 3XO. With all the new safety features and improved build quality, the Mahindra 3XO could beat the Tata Nexon by getting more ratings for child and adult safety.

In terms of features, the Mahindra XUV 3XO could outsell the Tata Nexon. Firstly, the 3XO will come with the first feature in its segment, the huge panoramic sunroof! Apart from that, it will probably continue to have disc brakes on the rear axle, which is not the case with the Nexon. And finally, Mahindra promises a breathtaking performance from its 1.2-litre TGDi engine, as the brand claims that it accelerates from 0-60 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds. So, with its new design, new features and improved safety, the Mahindra XUV 3XO could pose a threat to the Tata Nexon!
