Suspect of attempted bank robbery arrested in Marina – KION546

MARINA, Calif. (KION-TV) – Marina police said a man who attempted to rob a bank in town was booked into the Monterey County Jail.

According to police, the man attempted to rob the bank in the 3100 block of Vista Del Camino on Wednesday.

Following the report, police said the suspect was located at the intersection of Del Monte Boulevard and Beach Drive.

He was arrested, but police could not immediately determine his identity.

During the investigation, Olson Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution. The lockdown was lifted after the arrest.
