Fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul could be canceled as icon is too old to return to the ring

British boxer Aloys Junior fears that Mike Tyson’s fight against Jake Paul “could be canceled” due to health reasons.

The upcoming fight is currently surrounded by controversy; the two men are expected to face each other on November 15th.

Tyson suffered another outbreak of stomach ulcers at the beginning of the year, which is why the two had to postpone their fight – it was originally planned for July 20th.

There are fears that he could suffer a serious injury in the duel with Paul, who is 31 years younger than his rival.

Tyson, for his part, insists he “feels great” as he prepares to return to boxing after a four-year hiatus.

But speaking to talkSPORT, Junior believes the fight “may be called off” to avoid any problems.

“To be honest, I think he could be stopped,” he said.

“He is simply too old, his body has already deteriorated too much at this age.

Paul will go into the fight feeling good after recently defeating Mike Perry by knockout.

And although there are concerns about Tyson's health ahead of the fight, the 58-year-old currently has no intention of withdrawing from the fight.

It will be his first fight since his clash with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, which ended in a draw.

There is a general consensus that Paul's strength and youthful energy will swing the pendulum in his direction as the year progresses.

However, since Tyson is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, the 58-year-old believes he has a good chance of taking the crown.

Meanwhile, former boxing star Butterbean claimed the fight would never take place and called it a “hoax.”

“He and Tyson will never fight each other,” he said during a question and answer session.

“This was a hoax from the start, just to get Jake’s name out there – and it did!
