Gangster boss Rockay City was patched again by the developer IN-GAME STUDIOSwhich adds a wealth of extras, including a proximity mine and other gadgets, new weapon combinations, and various bug fixes. Full details can be found in the Crime Boss Rockay City Update 1,023 Patch Notes below.

New content:

  • New gadgets added: Proximity Mine, Camera Spy, Colorful Magazine.
  • New weapon combinations added.
  • Added “Defend Business Partner” mission as “Defend Warehouse” variant.
  • Silver and Wiz can now be unlocked for multiplayer.

Update:
progression

  • Account and campaign progress is now a little faster.
  • Perks have been removed from the progression system and can be purchased directly from the Boss Customization screen, including new Tier III perks.
  • First win of the day added to speed up progress. Available in multiplayer missions.

Game balance

  • All discount levels are now available.
  • Previously acquired perks each grant one pending level, allowing players to choose reward compensation.
  • The explosion timer for grenades starts after the grenade is released, not after it hits the target.
  • The “Hard” and “Extreme” difficulty levels have been rebalanced to provide a greater challenge.
  • Bot improvements.
  • Added new ping options for bot commanding.
  • DLSS and XeSS updated to newer versions.

Bug fixes:

  • Multiple failsafes to prevent loss of game progress in case of game crashes, power outages, etc.
  • Non-player characters (bots) no longer suffer a hidden 4% mission reduction in multiplayer.
  • Campaign reward boss skins that previously had no votes now have base votes.
  • Player and bot health will now regenerate correctly even if a bot switch is performed before reviving.
  • Asset targets (Piano, Penthouse) now react immediately to asset purchases when they occur.
  • Mission “Cagnali’s Fortress”:
    • Should now show an accurate maximum reward.
    • Should now give a significantly higher reward in the campaign (previously the standard amount was used).
    • Multiplayer always had maximum rewards, but now they are based on mission progress and performance.

Modding:
• Implementation of a UGC mod loading plugin (Unreal Engine plugins), giving you the ability to create blueprint mods for the game.
• Create compound tables for the most commonly used database tables using BP functions to append new (or existing) tables to the compound tables, which is great for replacing or adding new weapons, for example.
• Added the ability to add gameplay tags with the UGC mod.
• If a campaign mode does not define map layout presets, gang starting positions will be random, valid territories (allowing for completely random starting positions).

Known issues:

1. “Follow me” command makes bots drop bags

2. The daily reward prompt is not visible in the debriefing screen

3. The first asset is not available for purchase when you access the Assets screen for the first time in the campaign.

4. Guards sometimes do not take the diversion magazine

5. Robots react to distraction Magazine

6. NPCs sometimes do not respond to the player after picking up the distraction magazine

7. Some new content introduced with this update will be localized to English by default.
