Tank Davis fight on November 2 at T-Mobile Arena questioned

There is talk on social media that Gervonta “Tank” Davis could possibly fight on November 2nd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

T-Mobile Arena already booked

At this point, it's all just speculation from fans as the venue is already booked. Supposedly, Tank Davis promoters have reserved the event. However, when I checked the T-Mobile Arena event schedule, I found that a hockey game between the Vegas Golden Knights and Utah Hockey Club was booked at the venue that evening on November 2nd.

Unless the fight is moved to another location, Tank Davis will not fight at T-Mobile Arena on November 2. Fans will have to wait and see when and where WBA lightweight champion Gervonta (29-0, 27 KOs) will fight, but it doesn't look like it will be at T-Mobile Arena on the rumored night.

Gervonta, 29, is coming off an eighth-round knockout win over Frank Martin at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on June 15. That venue is a good option if T-Mobile Arena is unavailable on November 2 and Tank plans to fight on that date.

Die-hard boxing fans hope that Tank will next face WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson in a unification fight.

Shakur (22-0, 10 KOs) has campaigned like a politician for the fight against Tank, but in recent fights he has not performed well enough to generate demand for the match outside of the hardcore fans.

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh is interested in pairing Shakur vs. William Zepeda with Terence Crawford vs. Vergil Ortiz Jr., possibly on an event in 2025. Therefore, Shakur is not an option for Tank Davis' next fight in November.

Tank Davis' options for November are limited to these fighters:

– Floyd Schofield
– Keyshawn Davis
– Raymond Muratalla
– Edwin De Los Santos
– Andy Cruz
– George Kambosos Jr
– Gustavo Lemos

If Tank is concerned about the money, he should offer the fight to Teofimo Lopez and face him in a catchweight contest over 135. Tank probably won't do that because it would be risky.

Some of the fighters Tank would offer a fight to would probably turn him down. Keyshawn is trained by Top Rank and is not a good option.

Fighting De Los Santos would give Tank the opportunity to have his fans compare his performance to that of Shakur, who put up a terrible performance against him last November. Shakur ran around the ring all night and was booed by the fans at T-Mobile Arena.
