Death of Johnny Wactor: According to sources, police are arresting several people in connection with the fatal shooting of the “General Hospital” actor

LOS ANGELES — Multiple law enforcement sources told ABC News that the Los Angeles Police Department launched an operation Thursday to arrest people in the murder of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor.

According to police, Wactor was shot “without provocation” around 3:25 a.m. on May 25 after he finished his shift at a bar and was walking to his car.

He was confronted by three men who had lifted his car “with a jack and were in the process of stealing the catalytic converter,” police said in a statement.
