A 64-year-old man was seriously injured in an accident in Mayes County on Wednesday, authorities said.

In an earlier report, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol stated that Dean Camren of Spavinaw died in the crash, but later corrected that information and confirmed that Camren was still alive. He was flown to a hospital with multiple injuries after the crash. Two other passengers in the car with Camren were also taken to the hospital.

The accident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Indian Springs Road at NE 455 Dr. near Spavinaw. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
