Eyewitness video from the scene showed two people setting off fireworks and then flames. Through investigative techniques, officers were able to identify Khoshaba and 20-year-old Cameron Brown as suspects.

On Tuesday, Brown was arrested and booked into the Boulder County Jail. He is charged with second-degree arson, criminal damage and reckless endangerment.

“I am grateful for the tips we received from the public and the hard work of our investigators that resulted in warrants and the arrest of these suspects. We take fire safety in Boulder County very seriously and will investigate and work with prosecutors to charge anyone who endangers our community,” said Boulder County Sheriff Curtis Johnson.
