Cincinnati Bengals: Trent Brown leaves Bears training due to injury

CINCINNATI — A few more players were injured on the Bengals during their joint practice with the Bears on Thursday. In addition to Chris Evans and D'Ante Smith, Trent Brown is also on the injured list due to a lower back injury.

Several media outlets reported the news when Cody Ford took over Brown's position as right tackle midway through the session. Cincinnati will be without Amarius Mims for several weeks as line depth on both sides of the ball is severely compromised, although there are no signs that the injuries to Mims or Brown will be long-term problems.

Meanwhile, Smith left the field with an aircast on a cart, potentially leaving only four healthy tackles on the roster for this weekend.

The Bengals will play the Bears in Chicago on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
