Two dead in apparent murder-suicide at Marriott Hotel in Irvine, police say

IRVINE, Calif. (KABC) — Police are investigating the deaths of two people described as “elderly” at an Irvine hotel. Investigators say it is a possible murder-suicide.

According to Irvine police, officers responded to a 911 call to the Marriott hotel in the 7900 block of Irvine Center Drive after receiving a 911 call there.

The bodies were found in a room, but further details were not released.

Police told Eyewitness News that the victims appear to be related, but investigators are still working to determine their family relationships.
