Sheriff: Gulfport man arrested after stabbing with man in stomach

LYMAN, Mississippi (WLOX) – A man was arrested after stabbing another man in the stomach, according to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office.

Terrance Daitwan Wilson, 21, was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated assault.

The HCSO responded to a stabbing in the 15,000 block of John Clark Road on Thursday.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a stab wound to the abdomen.

Officers learned that the victim got into a verbal argument with another person in the house that escalated into physical violence.

According to HSCO, Wilson stabbed the victim with a knife as a result of the argument.

The victim was flown to a hospital by rescue helicopter for treatment, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Wilson was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and charged with aggravated assault.

He is being held on $100,000 bail set by Judge Brandon Ladner.
