Doctors in the Matthew Perry case investigated by the Medical Association are still licensed

The two doctors were charged in connection with Matthew PerryThe couple's deaths are being investigated by the California Medical Board, but their licenses have not been suspended…at least not yet.

Mark Chavez And Salvador Plasencia are the two doctors who are accused of illegally supplying the deceased “Friends” star with ketamine.

The state medical board told TMZ that they were aware of the criminal charges against Dr. Chavez and Dr. Plasencia and were investigating the case.

In the meantime, the board informed us that both physicians' medical licenses remain valid… and that no disciplinary action has been taken against their licenses.

Dr. Chavez admitted to selling the drug to Dr. Plasencia, and prosecutors say he obtained the ketamine by writing fake prescriptions.

Prosecutors allege that Dr. Plasencia, a doctor at an urgent care center, frequently injected Matthew with large doses of ketamine … and even administered the drug to him in Perry's home.
