Speeder crashes into fast food restaurant in East Peoria

EAST PEORIA (25News Now) – Late Thursday night, a speeding car crashed into a wall behind a fast food restaurant in East Peoria.

Witnesses said a car sped through the intersection of Main Street and Springfield Road, striking another car. Then the speeding car reportedly struck a curb near Popeyes, rolled across the parking lot and landed rooftop on the side of Hardee's near the drive-thru.

It is unclear whether there were any injuries.

East Peoria Police and Fire Departments were on scene along with Illinois State Police.
