Detectives arrest Millsboro teen after shooting – Delaware State Police

Delaware State Police have arrested a 15-year-old from Millsboro, Delaware, on weapons possession and related charges following a shooting in Millsboro.

On August 13, 2024, at approximately 12:12 p.m., officers responded to the 26000 block of Blue Dolphin Lane in Millsboro for a report of a shooting that occurred the previous evening. Investigation revealed that the suspect pointed a gun at the victim during an argument with another teen and then fired a shot as he left the home. There were four teens in the home at the time and no one was injured in the incident.

Investigators identified and arrested the suspect. He was transported to Squad 7 where he was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned, and remanded to the Stevenson House Detention Center on $100,000 bail.

  • Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (felony)
  • Reckless endangerment 1st Serious crime – 4 counts
  • Serious threat (crime)
