Three injured in two-vehicle crash on Highway 18 Thursday evening in Apple Valley – VVNG.com

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in the city of Apple Valley on Thursday evening.

It happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. on August 15, 2024 at the intersection of Dale Evans Parkway and Highway 18.

The two vehicles involved were a wine-red Mini Cooper built in 2009 and a red Nissan Altima built in 2014.

Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to the accident and requested three ambulances.

All three ambulances transported the injured to St. Mary's Medical Center.

The roadway was partially closed while officers investigated the accident and tow trucks worked to recover the vehicles.

The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by Apple Valley Police.
