After rollover accident on Transmountain, 8 adults and 1 minor have to be hospitalized

Nine people are in hospital after a rollover on the Transmountain.

According to the El Paso Fire Department, eight adults and one minor traveling east in an SUV suffered minor to moderate injuries Thursday evening when the vehicle overturned on Transmountain Road.

The accident scene has been turned over to the El Paso Police Department, who will investigate the cause of the accident, the number of vehicles involved and any rainfall.

The emergency services on site assume that the accident site will be cleared by around 10:30 p.m.

In total, the EPFD estimates that 14 units, including EPPD patrol units, responded to the scene of the accident.

The first emergency call was recorded around 9 p.m.
