Instead, they are said to have exploited his vulnerabilities to line their pockets. Estrada explained: “These people knew that what they were doing was wrong.”

“They knew that their conduct put Mr Perry in great danger, but they did it anyway.

Ultimately, these defendants were more interested in profiting from Mr. Perry than in caring about his well-being.”

The two doctors, known as Salvador Plasencia, known as “Dr. P,” and Mark Chavez, are at the center of a criminal network.

Authorities say this network was responsible for supplying large quantities of ketamine to Perry. CNN.

Authorities have also filed charges against Perry's personal assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, Jasveen Sangha, known as the “Ketamine Queen,” and Erik Fleming, an acquaintance of Perry's.

Prosecutors allege that this group conspired to obtain thousands of dollars worth of ketamine and then administer it to Perry.

Court documents show a series of disturbing text messages between Plasencia and Chavez in which Plasencia coldly calls Perry an “idiot.”

Authorities also accuse Sangha and Plasencia of altering and falsifying documents related to the federal investigation.

Authorities found Perry dead in a hot tub at his home in October 2023.

THE AUTOPSY OF MATTHEW PERRY

The report listed drowning, coronary heart disease and use of buprenorphine, a drug used to treat opioid addiction, as contributing factors.

The autopsy report highlighted the extremely high levels of ketamine in Perry's body, noting that they were comparable to those found under general anesthesia.

“Given the high levels of ketamine found in his post-mortem blood samples, the most fatal effects would be both hyperstimulation of the cardiovascular system and respiratory depression,” the report said.

Shockwaves through Hollywood

Many are outraged at the exploitation of a man who fought so bravely against his demons.

And now they are being brought to justice for their actions.”
