Several police officers were photographed during an “incident” in a residential area of ​​Glasgow.

Now police announced that a 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged with alleged possession of an offensive weapon, assault on police and traffic offences.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today (Friday, August 16).

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “On Thursday 15 August 2024, at around 6.40pm, officers arrested a 30-year-old man on Lincoln Avenue in Knightswood and charged him with possession of a firearm, assault and traffic offences.”

“He is due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday 16 August 2024.”
