A 68-year-old Cameron, Missouri, man suffered moderate injuries after he was ejected from his vehicle in a single-vehicle crash late Thursday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred on Route C, about four miles north of Cameron, at 10:35 p.m.

Dale L. Feese was driving a 2004 Lexus RX350 northbound on Route C when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve. The Lexus left the west side of the road, struck the ground, and struck a caution sign before continuing north into a ditch. The vehicle then re-entered the road, began to roll over, and the driver was ejected. The vehicle eventually came to rest on its wheels alongside the west side of the road, facing east, with the driver underneath.

Feese, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, was initially transported by Cameron ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. LifeFlight Eagle later flew him to North Kansas City Hospital for further treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department and the Cameron Police Department.
