Westfield police search for missing 12-year-old girl

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts (WGGB/WSHM) – Springfield police have arrested three people following a shooting at a barbershop on Thursday.

Shortly after 10 a.m., officers received reports of a shooting at a barber shop on Saint James Avenue.

When officers arrived, they saw a vehicle speeding away.

Another team in the area saw the suspect's vehicle turn onto State Street.

They attempted to stop traffic, but the driver, later identified as 43-year-old Victor Cabrera-Quinones of Springfield, swerved and ignored a red light.

The suspect then got caught in a traffic jam and turned himself in.

Cabrerea-Quinones was arrested after officers found a loaded firearm in the car.

Back at the barbershop, officers saw 45-year-old Jesus Cabrera and 38-year-old Juan Rios of Springfield trying to dispose of a bullet casing.

They were both arrested.

No one was injured in the shooting.
