After his firing from Marvel Studios and the recent lawsuit against Disney+, the world is in upheaval and Beau DeMayo is ready to file charges against the corporation!

Beau DeMayo says the whole ordeal is a tragedy

Back then, when X-Men '97 Creator Beau DeMayo was hailed as the savior of the Marvel animated series. Surprisingly, the creator was fired for “egregious” misconduct.

DeMayo, however, countered that Marvel Studios fired him for posting a fan art photo of Cyclops for Gay Pride in June. The creator claimed that Marvel sent him a letter after 9 days terminating the contract (via Variety).

There are allegations that Disney and Marvel cut ties with Beau DeMayo because he is part of the LGBTQ+ community. On his social media account on X, DeMayo simply wrote: “The truth will come out.”

Fans supported DeMayo, and that's not the only thing the Walt Disney Corporation needs to know. The company has filed another lawsuit against the company, and fans are angry.

According to a report by IndieWire, a man has filed a lawsuit against Disney over the death of his wife. On the other hand, Disney claims that since he was the “General terms and conditions of business” from Disney+, he can't sue legally!

Disney+'s bizarre terms and conditions enrage the world

According to recent news, a man named Jeffrey Piccolo traveled to Disneyland with his wife, who suffered from severe food allergies. Piccolo is suing the Walt Disney Company after his wife, Kanokporn Tangsuan, died from an allergic reaction to the food served at Disneyland.

The report further states that despite the seriousness of the case, they were assured that the food was safe for Tangsuan. However, the medical report revealed the cause of death as “Anaphylaxis due to increased dairy and nuts in her body.”

Although the restaurant was on Disney property, it was not owned by Disney. However, Disney did something unthinkable. They filed a motion to compel arbitration (to avoid a trial or delay the process). IndieWire's report reads:

In November 2019, Piccolo first created a Disney account through the Disney+ website. Piccolo filled out the registration web form by providing personal information, including his email address, and created a password.

The report continued:

Before registering the account, Piccolo had to select “Agree and Continue.” Directly above was a disclosure informing Piccolo that “[b]By clicking 'Agree and Continue' you agree to our Subscriber Agreement.' Piccolo then selected 'Agree and Continue'.

The subscription agreement contains a clause stating that in the event of a dispute (including any disputes), both parties agree to resolve the issue through “binding arbitration”. To put it simply, by agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of a Disney+ subscriber, Jeffrey Piccolo has agreed to arbitrate any disputes past, future or present!

This lawsuit has caused a stir in the world, as many more clauses could be hidden in other streaming services. On the other hand, people support Beau DeMayo's stance against the mega-corporation.
